Mark your calendar: March 2nd-7th, Cherry Creek Literacy Week. Every night, starting Sunday, March 2nd, we will have a reading out of our bedtime chapter book, “Life According to Humphrey.” It will be posted nightly on the Cherry Creek Facebook page. Comment each night for an entry in our prize drawing.

Did I have double vision on Tuesday? It was Twinning Tuesday at Cherry Creek and many of the faculty dressed alike in pairs, trios and groups. It was fun to figure out who was twinning.

Puck, the mischevious sprite from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, strikes again! This time, he struck Mrs. Nielson’s 5th grade class by stacking desks and playing Baby Shark over her speakers on Friday. “Oh what fools these mortals be.”

Save the Date: Tuesday, March 4th from 4:30-8:30 p.m. will be Skate Night at Orem Classic Fun Center. Free Entry for all.

Mrs. Nielson’s Class wins back the Spirit Day Trophy with 94% of the class wearing RED or Cherry Creek Attire. Congratulations!

The spirit of Puck, a mischievous nature sprite in English folklore, is alive at Cherry Creek. Mrs. Vandygriff’s class was heart attacked. On each heart was written Shakespearian insults. Pretty clever and hilarious tricksters!

There haven’t been many snowy days this year. Mrs. Brush found Cherry Creek Crocs having fun building snowmen today at lunch recess. Way to synergize Crocs!

Another 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class bought Mrs. Darrington’s chair with his Croc Cash. Since it’s become so popular in the class, he was asked why buy the Principal’s chair? He said it’s comfy and it makes him feel like a King for a day.

Just a reminder: Tomorrow is Cherry Creek Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A in Spanish Fork from 5-8 p.m. Remember to tell the cashier that you are there to support Cherry Creek.

There were so many creative Valentine’s Boxes brought to school today. The PTA chose winners from every grade level. Each child that brought a Valentine’s box got a treat from the PTA. Happy Valentine’s Day Crocs!

This week we have a new Spirit Day Winner. Mrs. Mitchell’s class came away with the trophy.
Congratulations!

The 4th Graders think Mrs. Darrington’s chair is the best thing in life! Another 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s turned her Croc Cash in for Mrs. Darrington’s chair. That’s 4 4th Graders in 2 weeks.

Just a reminder: Monday, February 17th is President's Day and is a school Holiday. School will resume on Tuesday, February 18th.

Mrs. Darrington’s chair has been a hot commodity these last two weeks. A 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class saved up her Croc Cash to buy Mrs. Darrington’s chair for a day. It must be nice to study and sit in a comfy chair during the school day!

A 4th Grade Croc saved up his Croc Cash to buy Mrs. Darrington’s chair for a day. What a comfy way to spend a day at school.

A 3rd Grade Croc made the Impossible Shot yesterday. Cherry Creek Crocs are on a roll, making the impossible possible. Congratulations!

Put on your calendars: Cherry Creek Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A in Spanish Fork, Wednesday, February 19th from 5-8 p.m.

Are you interested in Preschool for next year? Please call the school office to make an appointment for your child to be screened on a Monday in April.

What a surprise! Last week, one of these Cherry Creek Crocs invited Mrs. Darrington to watch their basketball game. They were all smiles when they realized that their Principal actually came to see them play. It’s so fun to see students in school and watching them excel in other parts of their lives! #habit4:thinkwinwin #habit6:synergize #habit7:sharpenthesaw

A First Grader in Ms. Beeson’s First Grade Class made the Impossible Possible. Congratulations!
