Thank you Mrs. Wigington for your time at Cherry Creek. You will be missed, but know you have some fun adventures ahead! Best Wishes!

For field day, the 4th and 5th graders got to have some fun at the Springville Rec Pool.

Field Day: One of the Best Days of the School Year. The perfect ending to a fun afternoon is when the Springville Fire Trucks show up to cool everyone off! Thanks Springville FD for being great community leaders and connecting with Cherry Creek Crocs in a fun way!

Mini Society: One of the Most Fun End of Year Activities! The 5th Graders put on a Kids Market, where Cherry Creek Crocs can “spend” mini society bucks that they have earned through good behavior. Students enjoyed playing games, purchasing treats and homemade crafts and even playing video games. The 5th Graders have fun planning their mini society booth and the rest of Cherry Creek enjoyed the atmosphere of a fair.

This year, the 2025 graduating class of Springville High School was invited to return to their elementary schools to be celebrated. Cherry Creek honored them with a Victory Lap around the school halls. It was fun to see these former Crocs grace the halls of Cherry Creek again and hear about their future plans. Congratulations SHS Class of 2025! Best Wishes in your future endeavors.

A 2nd Grader in Ms. Christensen’s Class Makes the Last Impossible Shot of the Year! Congratulations!

On Friday, the 5th Graders walked the Cherry Creek stage for Graduation. Mrs. Darrington gave a farewell speech to the Graduates. Each of the Class Valedictorians spoke to the 5th Graders Crocs. The 5th Graders ended the program singing, So Wave Your Flag. It will be sad to see these students leave Cherry Creek, but they have so many new adventures ahead of them. Congratulations and Best Wishes Crocs!

On Monday and Tuesday, Cherry Creek Crocs had a field trip to Adventure Heights All Abilities Park in Spanish Fork. The compass that you come through to enter the park suggests a sense of togetherness in a forward direction. The premise of the park is the idea of stepping together & having something for everyone. The Sensory Garden has interactive toys and musical instruments. The Incredible Tree stand 24 ft tall and has a platform and a slide. There is a two seated Zip line, making fun for two friends. Lots of fun and learning experiences for all our Cherry Creek Crocs.

Last Friday was Cherry Creek’s Reading Carnival. It is one of the most anticipated events of the school year. Students earn tickets during the year for the amount of nightly reading minutes. At the carnival, they can spend their reading tickets on Carnival games, blowup slides/obstacle course, books to take home for Summer reading and chances to win a reading prize. Everyone has a fun time at the Reading Carnival.

4th Graders competed in the Springville Track Meet. These are the Crocs that placed in their events. Congratulations!

Kids Cause is excited to invite you to our Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 2! This event will support students in Nebo School District by helping provide glasses, dental work, clothing, and other essentials. Kids Cause works closely with school social workers and administrators to identify students who need extra help, making a real difference in our community.
The tournament promises a fun day for a great cause — just $60 per person! Bring your own foursome if possible! Lunch will be provided, and there will be lots of prizes to win throughout the day. Come enjoy a round of golf and help us continue supporting kids in need! We hope to see you there!

Miss Vicky Lowe K’ulub and Maria Elena Lowe Gomez K’ulub came to teach Cherry Creek Crocs about art forms related to textiles, weaving technology, food ways, storytelling and the arts.

80”s Skate Day is one of the most favorite days of the school year! Each grade level got 30 min to skate, scooter and board around the gym to the tunes of the 1980’s. Crocs and faculty had fun pulling 80’s attire out to add to the vibe.

Springville City Bike with the Mayor is Saturday at 10 am. There will be swag, muffins, bike licensing, and the opening of the splash pad.

Cherry Creek’s Got Talent: 2nd Grade Edition. Last week, the 2nd Graders had their chance to show off their unique talents. There were magicians, pianists, dancers, gymnasts, artists and more. These Crocs showed their poise and confidence when sharing their talents in front of their peers, parents and family. Good Job 2nd Grade Crocs!
