Brookside Elementary

To wrap up our CKLA Human Body unit, Mrs. Weier’s first graders transformed into mini doctors! Armed with teamwork, they worked together to place organs like the heart, lungs, brain, and stomach into the correct spots on a life-sized human body poster. As they discussed where each organ belonged, they proudly used vocabulary they learned throughout the unit and explained how each part helps keep our bodies alive and healthy. It was a hands-on, memorable way to show just how much they’ve learned about the amazing human body!
