state capitol

Our fifth-grade students had an exciting and educational visit to the Utah State Capitol Building! During their tour, students explored the historic halls of the Capitol while participating in a fun and engaging scavenger hunt focused on the building’s rich art, architecture, and history.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity for some students to meet Representative Whyte, our local State Representative. He kindly took time to speak with them and answer questions about his role and the legislative process, making the experience even more meaningful.

This field trip was a fantastic way for students to see first-hand where Utah’s state government operates and to deepen their understanding of civics and government in action. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this memorable learning experience possible!
